stole this from a friend on facebook

If it is on, I must turn it off. If it is off, I must turn it on. If it is folded, I must unfold it. If it is a liquid, it must be shaken, then spilled. If it a solid, it must be crumbled, chewed or smeared. If it is high, it must be reached. If it is shelved, it must be unshelved. If it is pointed, it must be run with at top speed. If it has leaves, they must be picked. If it is plugged, it must be unplugged. If it is not trash, it must be thrown away. If it is in the trash, it must be removed, inspected, and Thrown on the floor. If it is closed, it must be opened. If it does not open, it must be screamed at. If it has drawers, they must be rifled. If it is a pencil, it must write on the refrigerator, Monitor, or table. If it is full, it will be more interesting emptied. If it is empty, it will be more interesting full. If it is a pile of dirt, it must be laid upon. If it is stroller, it must under no circumstances be Ridden in without protest. It must be pushed by me instead. If it has a flat surface, it must be banged upon. If Mommy's hands are full, I must be carried. If Mommy is in a hurry and wants to carry me, I must walk alone. If it is paper, it must be torn. If it has buttons, they must be pressed. If the volume is low, it must go high. If it is toilet paper, it must be unrolled on the floor. If it is a drawer, it must be pulled upon. The ER and me and a catch up since last time.

Is it a bad thing when the ER people remember you? *ponders for a moment* Maybe I should switch which ER I go to when I get hurt lol Well I borrowed an apple peeler/corer/and slicer from my loveliest friend Ebeth. It looks like a medieval torture device.

Well I'm using it and all is well, even stazia wanted to try it and had tons of fun doing it!

I get the apples on the stove to cook and reduce them (winging it) and everything is going smoothly!
Here is the fun part. I'm cleaning up and being a moron and trying to get a better grip on this core that doesn't want to come off of "Satan's" apple device (just kidding) I pull the corkscrew part back to the beginning and grab the core and yank, well needless to say my hand slipped and wham right into the core and slice area *face palm* I look at my finger it's bulging there's some blood and I call the hubs. "You NEED to come home right now I NEED to go to the ER."  "What happened?" I cut my finger while making applesauce" "OK on my way"

It's the first time I've ever felt woozy and dizzy and hot from a cut. I don't get that way around blood guts or anything medical.

Well went to the ER and they told me I nicked a vein and glued me up and splinted my finger which I"m not to use for at least 3 days and see a Dr in a week. End result is this
At least I don't have a sinus infection anymore and the girls are doing better. The babies are doing better as well but they still have the nasty BM's... Craig also is feeling good just worn down tired.

I don't know if I can salvage the 9 lbs. of apples that I was making into applesauce (several hours later) but I guess I should give it a try...

Here is my little man Tristian I love this picture.

Catching up

How is everyone? I hope you said good. If not, sorry.   Well my house is a wreck, nothing new there. Laundry is backing up, nothing new there. My kids are running around in only diapers, nothing new there. I LOVE the rain. I like when the sun isn't blinding me. I like running around in the rain letting it wash away my stress (although I never do this anymore.) I LOVE and I mean LOVE sleeping while it's raining. And it's raining today! I feel some what motivated to do something today. And if you don't believe me, I actually put a bucket full of folded clothes away in their rightful spots, if that's not proof I don't know what is.

Had to tell my Aunt that if the hubs isn't working on Thanksgiving then we are going up to PA so that we can see his family since we haven't gone up there for quite sometime due to family issues.  I feel bad but we will have to do a trip some other time.  Or maybe they can come down here for a couple of days at some point.

So, while at the farm I got some apple cider because I'm a sucker for it and fall is prime cider time. I gave it to the girls and guess what they call it..... Apple SPIDERS! it's great. LOL Nonono I don't want apple spiders, nonono I don't want pink lemonade I want apple spiders. It's great.

Felicity has had bad soup poop (sorry if this is tmi but she's a baby and I'm her mom so I can talk about this) and last night it woke her up, poor itty bitty (one of her many nicknames), and so we bring her downstairs (where the girls still weren't listening to close their eyes and be quiet) and I'm holding for the longest time before I realize she went poop again. I hate being sick and not being able to smell as well. So I change her,  not a ton of mush but enough for her but to be all red and inflamed and starting to look a  little raw. I felt so bad for her because she's shaking while I'm trying to be as gentle as possible with cleaning her up but the slightest touch hurts. Threw on some baby Vaseline (which I hate Vaseline but sometimes it just works better than the expensive baby butt creams that are out there on the market) and by some I mean a ton. get her all wrapped up again and Daddy takes her so that I can clean my hand. WELL here is the kicker I come back and he's talking to her saying "Are you ready for bed now?" To which she replies by shaking her head no. Too cute. Then he asks "Are you ready for your bottle?" To which she replies by shaking her head yes. Then he asks her "Are you ready for sleep?" To which she replies by closing her eyes for a moment or two. And we just start giggling. He went through this rotation a couple more times but she never really did the sleep closing eyes again like the first time she did it. And here I was without my phone until it was over. Mommy fail! Anyways, she went to bed took her bottle and fell asleep for the rest of the night.

Dr. appointments were for all the kids yesterday... The girls have antibiotics for sinus infections and the babies are being watched till Friday and if they don't get better by tomorrow I'm supposed to bring them back in for the Dr. to put them on something, but it's believed to only be viral at this stage.  Hubs has a sinus infection, and I have a sinus infection/viral infection (although I've been on my antibiotics for almost a week now.)

Oh and Felicity is in an arranged marriage already with Leo. I'm sorry if no one else agrees lol but I have decided LOL (not that that matters) here are a few pics of them.

Yep that's final they will date when they are 88 and then get married when they are 89! Sorry Lisa and Jason you are stuck with us for life now! LOL

Well I'm off to Clean (maybe I'll actually do it this time)... Maybe
Hopefully the kids will do something funny that I can blog about... Maybe
Can you see I'm trying to procrastinate.... Failing ok Bye

apples and pumkins and cider oh my!

Today we went to The pick your own farm with a group of ladies and their kiddos. It was the first time that the kids got to pick apples off trees and tromp through a pumkin patch and for the majority of the time they were great! We got a little bit over 9 lbs of apples and we got 2 large pumpkins and 4 little ones, which it didn't  dawn on me until we got home and I was placing them on our porch area that "Hey, those represent us as a family!!!" I swear I'm slow at times.  It was great seeing the ladies and meeting another mom with a set of twins that are inbetween my two sets.  Once we were in the pumpkin patch Stazia was ready to be done, saying her legs couldn't walk anymore and that her feet hurt, which is my fault because I thought it would at least be muddy from last nights rain (and it wasn't) and I thought there is a chance that it could start raining while we were there (and it didn't) so I put those boots on them... We need to get new boots for them.   Charlotte got away from us for a couple of minutes by heading down about half the length of the pumpkin patch when I belted out "CHARLOTTE GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE NOW!!!!" To which Lisa just starts cracking up saying "There's the kim I know and love now if only it was followed by a belch it'd be PERFECT." Took me back.  On the way home we stopped by Chik-Fil-A and we got lunch brought it home and ate. Now it's quiet time and let me tell you the house is NOT quiet. The babies fell asleep half way home in the van so they have been either crying sqealing laughing jabbering or what not while in their cribs and the girls have been up and down on the couch watching ..... can you guess it?..... that's right! PONYO PONYO PONYO FISHY IN DA SEA!!! I started working on this new hat I'm learning (for adults, I'll have to see if I can decrease it for toddler and child sizes) and now I'm completely wipe since I only really got about 2 hours of sleep last night.  I will be running away when Craig gets home to go to bed! I don't care if it's only 4:15 pm.. Here are some picks from this morning. Waiting on Lisa to send me the others that we took with her camera (NOTE TO SELF - Find my camera and memory card and start carrying it around with us)

here are a couple of pics from a praying mantis that was outside of ebeth's house...

Monday "Holiday"

I'm calling it a holiday because technically it is. It's Columbus Day. Craig has off from work so he's home dealing with the kids while I ran to the commissary to stock up on out pantry and other misc. items. 200.00 later, I finish at the commissary and come home to find the house still a wreck. Le Sigh.  Craig and I got in a slight tiff before I left, in fact, I left when I did because I was annoyed. If I hadn't gotten annoyed then most likely I wouldn't have gone to the commissary just yet and our kitchen would still be bare. Well, the last thing I said before leaving the house was "Maybe you could clean up a bit while I'm gone." Closed the door and made my adventure for groceries. I come home and NOTHING is done. Not a single damn thing. So I unload the van by myself, I put away groceries practically by myself (he started to help but at this point I really didn't want help, I do a load of dishes  I preheat the oven (he puts in the meal to be heated up) I move laundry along I put some summer clothes in storage for next summer time and I grill hot dogs I make pb  sanwiches I make bottles and I make 2 out of the 4 sippies. the house is still a WRECK and my back is killing me. I had a left over tylenol with codeine that I just took about an hour ago and my back is still completely sore. Le Sigh. This is the point where I want to cry and if there was a county dump near by I would load up the van  with all the crap that is in the house and go throw it in the dump. And not just unusable crap I'm atalking perfectly fine (could sell it and get money back) crap.

End Rant

While at the commissary I picked up some things to make my own laundry detergent. I'm super excited to do this. Since Lisa posted the recipe and so forth on her blog (here is a link to the actual recipe for those of you who want it) I figured I'd try it out. Just need a 5 gallon bucket... Anyone have one I may borrow for 2 days?

We are back to living like the insurance check never came. Which is fine. I'm not sad about that and I asked the hubs and he said he's not bothered by it one bit. I'm glad he backed me up on something that I really wanted to do for a friend of ours.

I took a pic of the girls playing outside the mall last night for a few minutes because they were just soooooo excited about walking on this seating area. *seriously? seriously.*

I was thinking of having the family go to the apple/pumpkin picking farm today instead of tomorrow but now that my back hurts and I'm kinda super excited to get this laundry detergent made I think we will wait for tomorrow. (NOTE TO SELF- make sure to get up 30 m inutes early to be able to leave on time)

Back to cleaning? Really? I guess.....

I missed a day!!!!!!!!!

OH NOES!

Just kidding of course. Well not that I missed a day because as you can see I did. Anyways. I'm tired. Oh so very tired. Not like I could sleep forever type of tired but exhausted. And the kicker is I haven't done anything all day today. Sheesh.

We decided not to go back to the RennFest today because Stazia had a rough night last night and I even caused a nose bleed while trying to suck boogies from her nose. It was so dry that putting the saline drops in her nose and putting the soft sucker tube up there cause a bloody mess. And the poor thing was freaking out already because we had to shove medicine down her throat to help her breathe so that she could possibly sleep. So today we put the humidifier back in the girls room and set it on warm full blast for the majority of the day and it's still going as we speak. I looked online for more of those humidifiers to find out they have a horrible customer review status everywhere I looked. Evidently they break often and aren't worth the money you shell out for them. Luckily ours was a gift (I love my mom) and it still works but I don't want to shell out 300.00 for 2 more when they have such a poor consumer report to go along with them. So after reading about the Air-O-Swiss products Craig and I agreed that we should invest in 3 new humidifiers and use our current one as a back up and/or guest room humidifier.  Then it was time to pay for the car insurance. Now most people I know, pay monthly because it's just easier to come up with a smaller amount more frequently than to pay a larger amount at once. We pay the lump sum to get the discount. Well after paying the full 6 month premium I review the bill and realize I'm paying 51.00 more than previously. WTF! I check our driver status' and we both have outstanding records, I check out discounts which all pan out.... so I call to see what the deal is. And Guess What!?!?! Because of all you poor Maryland drivers and all of you insurance fraud people out there we have to pay for your BS! Now I know not everyone falls into this category but enough of the Maryland drivers do to have them increase premiums across the board even to those of us who have been with them for 7 years who are on their diamond plan who have never missed a payment who have exceptional driving records and who pay everything in full lump sum 2-3 weeks before it is due.  So we re-quoted our plan and checked with the company to see if there were any discounts that we were missing, turns out that we are getting the best deal as of right now but they will be soon implementing more discounts for MD drivers. Anyways, we wont have to worry about car insurance until April 27th of next year and by then we will have our tax refund. (side note - I may do a little shopping around if our premium keeps going up due to other people.)

End Rant.

Anastazia just poked her little head around the corner and is now curled up on the couch, facing the couch, while I blog and daddy plays god of war for PS3.

So ok continuing with today, after dealing with that I suggest that we should take the kids out just to get some fresh air and in different surroundings other than the house and the hubs suggests that I take them to go see the "owl" movie. I did. And let me tell you that was def scarey for some of it. But totally worth seeing. We saw it 3D (my first time the girls second time) and I don't know if I would have liked it as much in 2D.

I don't know what we will be doing tomorrow, but hopefully I will be motivated to clean some especially since hubs has off from work. And Tuesday the kids and I will be going to Larriland Farms to go apple and pumpking picking with some other moms from base. *LISA IF YOU READ THIS IT'S NOT TOO FAR FROM YOU YOU SHOULD TOTALLY MEET UP WITH US, JUST LET ME KNOW* I think the girls will be so much more into pumpkin picking this year too which should be completely fun and maybe I can try to make my own applesauce, but I need a press.

I think I'm going to work on some crochet or veg with WoW some before I go to bed. Or maybe just lay with Stazia on the couch and have a quiet talk with her about bed time. Anywho have a good one everyone and I'll blog to you tomorrow.

Can you get enough?

BECAUSE I CAN'T!
Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson - "Relator" music video

SO I can't get enough of this song. I don't know what it is about it but I just absoluetley LOVE IT!

On a side note, we've been eating Pho too much as of late. Craig walked in and they immediately knew our order. LOL

Friday Friday Friday

Well today is Friday (and if you didn't guess that already then I don't really have much else to say for you besides duh) and I still haven't finished my "chores"... Kimberellie Kimberellie night and day it's Kimberellie... My friends  used to call me this when I was younger (high school younger) and I couldn't go outside and play because I had to do my chores first. And boy oh boy did I HATE doing chores. It would drag on and on and on and on, oh wait! NOTHING has changed lol I mean seriously you would think that I would get it done and over with so that I can enjoy time with my kids and enjoy some quiet time (when it is quiet time) and be done with it. But I have this nagging trait about myself that I'm sure some others can totally understand. This trait is this lovely word called procrastination. *Stands up and clears throat* Hi. My Name is Kim and I'm a Procrastinator. *waits for the Hi Kim that should follow* Maybe I should just employ a person with a hand paddle to keep me motivated and every time I steer away from doing the chores around the house they give me a swift swat on the ass to keep me moving. Maybe then and only then everything that needs to get done will get done. LOL That would be a fun thing to explain to guests LOL "oh don't mind *insert name here* he's my ass swatter." LOL  Just imagine the reactions I'd get, too funny!

Ok so today's plans are Laundry!, last load of dishes into the dish washer and run BEFORE lunch, change kids sheets, actually put laundry away since at least half of it is folded.

REMINDER: Get label maker so I can finish filing all the random paperwork lying around the house.

Ebeth and Lisa - come over and hang out with me while I do my chores, your kids would entertain my kids and that would allow me to get more stuff done, maybe? yeah I didn't think that would fly but a girl can pretend right?

Gotta get a start on the day.

the kitchen (the babies happy place)

Chores

I'm glad that I got the living room cleaned up. Vacuumed, no toys on the floor, Movies put in the bin and books on shelves. I'm glad the girls are asleep (even if it's on the couch) and that the babies were asleep in their cribs (were because they are no longer asleep but it is quiet time until 4 so they can amuse themselves for about another hour.) Of course while I'm writing this Charlotte wakes up, atleast she is still laying on the couch.

I'm sad that my "dining room" is still a complete horrid mess. and that a third of the kitchen is a mess along with the floor. *cringe* I'm so exhausted though. I'm just completely tired and don't want to do ANYTHING. It's amazing that I feel so bad about not doing this stuff yet it never motivates me to do it. Is it horrible that I just want to hang out with a few select friends all day bullshitting about whatever comes up while crocheting and watching frivilous things on tv?

So I was never big on the whole absence makes the heart grow fonder, but I think I need a vacation away from everything to make me realize what I have. I mean, I know I have a wonderful family and life and that I'm truely blessed. Like, I know these things.  My Kids are healthy strong growing smart and adorable. My hubs is there for me pretty much with whatever I need or want. My extended family are great. And the few people who are my friends are actual REAL friends. So I am blessed. I can feed the kids we have shelter and clothes on our backs and love. Why do I feel like something is missing? I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I'm just dissappointed in myself with something. Hmmm contemplation soon to follow.

I think I will hide when hubs gets home and go lay down in bed for a little. Maybe crochet for a little. Need to see if Ebeth is still planning on coming over later. Hmmm anyone want a waffle cone full of chocolate chip cookie ice cream? I do, but don't worry I won't  get it. A girl can dream right? lol

Le Sigh, I guess I'll get back to cleaning my "dining room" now.

Alien Crickets!

OMG! Last night I was crocheting and the hubs was getting ready to go upstairs and we spot an ALIEN CRICKET!!! This is what I call them ever since seeing one for the first time about a decade ago (ugh saying a decade ago still makes me feel old.)  Of course they are not called alien crickets, well i just looked it up and maybe they are lol but her's a picture.
Camel or cave crickets will ALWAYS freak me out.  I'm not one to shy away from a bug. In fact very FEW things absolutely freak me out and these are one of them.  So one snuck into our home and made an appearance and I squealed.  I pulled my crochet bag onto the love seat and I continued to tell the hubs that it had to die, that we could not go to bed until it was out of the house one way or another.  So while he was laughing at me I proceeded to go after the super fast mind reading alien that had invaded my home. Take one it's on the floor and WHAM! it jumps under the couch. Craig moves the couch. Take two it's on the corner of the sofa and WHAM! it jumps under the couch. Take Three Craig moves the other part of the couch and it's on the back corner and WHAM! it jumps in the corner but I think I got one of it's legs. Take four WHAM! it jumped against the wall and take five WHAM! I finally got it.  All the while I'm jumping back after each "WHAM!" and squealing and asking frantically if I got it. Craig was laughing hysterically and hands me the wipes i take two and go get the alien and clean it up all the while saying "EW! I FELT IT SQUISH" which throws my hubs into another fit of giggles. I turn my gaze to him and say " I don't see YOU chasing after the alien cricket that was all me not YOU but ME!"  But my words have no effect on him he just giggles and starts putting the living room back together. Then lets me know that I HAVE to blog about this.  I told him he should have been video recording me because now that would have been a sight!

Now don't get me wrong I don't like killing things, and if I upset you all that I killed a cricket (even if it was an alien cricket) I'm sorry. Like I've told many of my friends bugs are fine, just outside of my house. And if it was a regular cricket I would have caught it in my hands and let it go outside just cause that's what we did at home. Oh and regular crickets aren't mind readers and jump like they knew you were coming. *shudders*

Onto other matters, I wish the trash came at 830 and not 800 because it would give me a couple of minutes to get the morning diapers out to the trash. Alas it doesn't.

My kids are asking for us to visit Mrs. Lisa's house again already.  And they still ask for Miz. Lizbet, Agwis, and MYah all the time. And yes that's how they say it. I LOVE MY KIDS!  Time to get a move on the day I need to vacuum, it's getting quite gross in my house. I'll update more later. Writing about last nights adventure has tired me out. My heart got a pumpin again! lol

Humpy Wednesday

So I'm feeling a little better but still head pressure. The hubs is taking a half day today so it seems. 11:08 am and the kids are eating lunch. Yes it is one of those days that the kids will be having lunch early and going to nap time slightly early, and no I'm not ashamed to admit that.  I've done a load of dishes and I've folded at least 2 loads of laundry oh and i've changed the babies cribs and given them a bath and moved laundry along. I know I know I sound like that movie "Dude, Where's My Car?"  AND THEN? AND THEN? AND THEN? lol NO AND THEN!!!! lol ok sorry I'll stop. I at least have 5-6 more loads of laundry to fold on top of the 5 more loads (at least) that need to be cleaned. (can I crawl in a hole and die now? lol)

~Break~

Ah, the babies are in bed the girls are eating a cookie on the couch and I have sweet potato fries in the oven. Just realized that I haven't eaten all day.  I'll have to come back to this later.
Yes this is Felicity in my kitchen sink.Silly girl.

11:29pm

So my hubs is egging me on to go to bed due to me not feeling well, what he's not taking into consideration is the 3-4 hour nap that I took late into the afternoon completely obliterating the evening. I should follow his advise to at least lay down but I'm also contemplating since the WHOLE house is in bed sleeping should I go ahead and clean since I'm wide awake and the house is filthy. I mean filthy does not even cover how nasty my house has gotten.

I have a ton of clothes to fold (which reminds me save lisa's detergent recipe) finish cleaning the dishes and ktichen, pick up all the toys and throw them in the trash pack and play, and vacuum....

I tried to set up a page for this page on my FB and completely failed and this is set up to share to my regular FB page and I can't even find where I unlink that so that I can link it to the other facebook page. Confusing I know.... If you got lost with that then just rewind and forget I ever wrote it.

I think I'll try to fold some of the laundry before I go to bed. I'm a really bad housewife and a mediocre mom. At least that's how I'm feeling in reference to letting this happen to the house.

~Me

Then the hubs comes down to tell me to go to bed, so I guess I'm going to bed lol night all

The weekend and more

Saturday - woke up got the kids up and before you knew it it was nap time. I swear I can't keep track of time anymore. I took a nap and that took up another 3 hours (that's a rare occassion) and then went out to celebrate Noella's birthday. Had a good time with the ladies of Fort Meade until about 2:30 am and ate some junk. However I did stay under my caloric intake for my caloric burn because remember the majority of the fight is intake vs output.

Sunday - Dealt with kids, made a shopping list proceeded to Costco to only get a small portion of what was on the list. Then off to Sophie's. Let me tell you... This girl had us working our butts OFF! (I'm still sore and it's Tuesday) But we stuck in there and kept going. The funny thing about working out is once you get warmed up you kinda want to keep going (noticed I said KINDA (and of course this only happens sometimes.))   Went and got kick-ass salads from Whole Foods, and sat around and talked. Came home to relieve the hubs from kid duty but he took the older two to the movies to see "the owl movie" as my older ones call it while I stayed home and put the babies to bed and veg on the computer playing WoW. (Don't judge me! lol)

Monday - SO Yeah. For those of you who do not have multiple sets of multiples please don't get me wrong when I say that this was a day that I was asking myself why oh why was I ever eager to be a mom.  I serious thought that during sleep my kids all got bludgeoned to stupid-ness during their sleep the night before because everything I told them to do was returned to me with a "Blank Stare" I'm sure all moms everywhere know this look. The look that a child gives you when they know what you are asking them to do and don't want to do it so they "play" dumb and over time it's just easier for you to get so frustrated that you throw your hands up in the air and do it yourself. Yeah that was this morning. Let's put into perspective for you folks. I wear a body bugg (It's a device I got that monitors your caloric burn sleep your intake and a few other aspects of health that my brain wont allow me to remember right now) and during the morning it was recording my physical activity, which it does while you where it (that's another thing), and I had not only gotten so worked up and was so busy that it recorded my normal moderate activity but i got up to the vigorous activity stage. SERIOUSLY? yeah I was surprised, kind of...

Once I got all the kids in the van we went over to Lisa's house to make new friends (which btw her kids are soooooo cute and I wont lie I did say Leo and Felicity would make cute babies!) and so mommy could catch up with her friend.  Not to mention I had to drop off Elena's hat (god I hope I'm spelling her name properly) which she looks super cute in it!

After we properly wrought havoc (because of the tornados that are my kids) upon Lisa's house and completely threw her kids napping schedules out of whack we went home and I unleashed the kids onto their daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!! DADDY DADDY DADDY! Peanut Butter sandwiches and pho was for dinner I just did not have the energy for anything else because remember ontop of everything I was super sore from my workout the previous day. Vegged on WoW again (what did I say? don't judge me! lol) and bedtime came early for me.

Tuesday aka TODAY - yes we have come upon the current date! Yay! Woke up feeling like CRAP went to the doctors and they gave me meds for a sinus infection. Don't worry it doesn't seem contagious. And if it is I am so sorry if I spread it to anyone! Came home made my hubs stay home from work and vegged on the sofa with kids crawling all over me watching PONYO. sings "ponyo ponyo ponyo fishy in the sea!" Made lunch, did a load of dishes and now blogging. I feel as thought my head is too heavy for my neck and it will snap under the weight. I think a nap is in my future. My immediate future that is.

Note to self - set up etsy alchemy account!

Happy Tuesday folks! ~ Me
